72V Architecture Explained

Why high voltage is the key to sustained power delivery and thermal management.

Most electric motorcycles in this class run 48V or 60V systems. We chose 72V for a fundamental reason: higher voltage means lower current draw for the same power output, which means less heat, thinner cables, and more sustained performance.

At 15kW continuous output, a 48V system draws over 312 amps. Our 72V architecture delivers the same power at 208 amps — a 33% reduction in current that cascades through every thermal calculation in the system.

Lower current means smaller MOSFETs in the controller, lighter gauge wiring, and dramatically reduced I²R losses throughout the powertrain. The result is a system that can sustain peak power for longer without thermal throttling.
