Ergonomics of the Rider Triangle

How seat height, bar reach, and peg position were tuned for urban geometry.

The rider triangle — the spatial relationship between seat, handlebars, and footpegs — defines how a motorcycle feels within the first 10 seconds of sitting on it. We optimized ours for a specific context: urban riding at speeds between 15 and 55 mph.

Seat height is 780mm, low enough for confident flat-footing at stops while maintaining adequate ground clearance. Bar reach is 520mm with a 12-degree sweep — upright enough to see over traffic, relaxed enough for 90-minute commutes.

Peg position is set 40mm forward of the knee-over-ankle standard, reducing hip angle and improving blood flow during extended rides. These aren't racing numbers — they're commuting numbers, and that's by design.
